Is this the finished version of SongRip?
This is an early desktop release. It includes a Windows setup wizard and signed Pro-license activation. The installer is currently unsigned, so Windows may show an unknown-publisher warning.
Do I need a subscription?
No. The demo is free, and SongRip Pro is $14.99 USD as a one-time purchase through Stripe. Music generation uses your computer’s hardware.
How do I receive and activate Pro?
After Stripe verifies payment, SongRip creates a signed license and downloads it from the confirmation page. In SongRip 0.2.10, open Demo / Pro, import that file, and select Activate Pro.
Does it run offline?
Initial setup needs internet to download the engine and models. After those downloads, music generation runs locally. The local description helper also needs a one-time download. The ChatGPT lyrics link requires internet and uses your own ChatGPT access.
Can I upload a song and train the AI?
Audio upload, reference-song analysis, and model training are not included in this preview. The current studio creates music from your description and lyrics.
What happens after my three demo songs?
Your finished songs remain accessible. The demo stops creating new songs after three successful generations. Failed generations do not use a demo song. Activate a valid Pro license to keep creating.
What if I need help?
In SongRip, select Open logs and save the newest relevant log along with a screenshot of the issue. Report the problem here with a description, screenshot and log. For purchase help, keep your Stripe receipt.
